I formerly worked as a DJ in Nightclubs in LA and Orange County, California, eventually leading me to a weekend show on a local AM radio station. Doing voices and joke telling was a large part of my act, and many jokes involved a variety of voice characters, to make them more appealing to my audiences.
I moved to Texas, and continued my career in clubs around the Dallas area. This involved working as a stand up comic, and MC for special events. in 2001, I auditioned for the coice of "Big Tex", an icon of the State Fair of Texas, in the form of a 50 foot cowboy. I finished in the top 5.
