About Chris
My voice leans toward the warm and deep though I am told it bears a decent measure of authority as well. The dialect is standard American Mid-West in the Johnny Carson and Dick Cavitt tradition. It is a baritone that can bark and bite, but it can also encourage and inspire as well.

- Experience, training, and equipmentMy voice over experience is mainly voice experience as a speech/forensics coach for 12 years. My teams have won the Nebraska State Championship 3 years running. Add to that a number of years as a songwriter/lead singer in a punk band (Billy Shake and the Speares) and hopefully it is apparent that I have been using my voice to get along for some time now. B.S. in Education - endorsed to teach English, Speech, Theater, and Journalism. As a teacher I have been employing voice over assignments my entire career in the form of radio plays, and as a speech coach I work for months each year exclusively grooming students' voices to accomplish their stated tasks (to inform, to persuade, to inspire, to incite laughter and tears and to always, always engage). I am currently using a MacBook with a Blue Snowball mic. I am an excellent reader with a strong background in literature. I coach both football and speech and as such am regularly called upon to use my voice to move others toward their assigned goals. I feel my voice has been one of my greatest assets in achieving the success I have enjoyed.
