With degrees in Music and English, and raised in the upper south, U.S., my voice has been described as articulate, unique, guy next door, relatable, compelling, and friendly, with an inate ability to use all the constituent aspects of timbre, pitch, rhythm, dynamics, breath, timing, pronunciation, phrasing, contour, and emotion to affect any client's audience in a more potent way. I can easily assume character roles from a young child to an aged senior citizen, a southern charm to a refined sophistication, and am a former impersonator for entertainers such as Elvis, Neil Diamond, and others. With a honeyed baritenor voice, characterized by a dark, weighty lower resonance and timbre, and a ringing upper register, I can execute articulation with great facility, character development and elaborate embellishment as needed. Fully functional in sound design, I have the capability to assemble and produce a product in toto. In addition, I can perform in a wide range of mediums and specialties, including animation and interactive entertainment, partially attributing much of that to many years of vocal training as well as “Second City-style“ improv.
