Earlier this year, I participated on Britain's Got Talent Series 6, performing an original song I authored called "My Supersonic Volkswagen Beetle" (available on Spotify). Though I do not feel I demonstrated the zenith of my capabilities during my BGT participation, I am comforted by the fact that I got further in a nationwide competition than over 69,800 other applicants and my song, which I released online, climbed to Number One on the UK iTunes Comedy Charts on May 23rd of this year (I knocked the Lonely Island off the top spot!).
I was also offered a commission by a large Scientific Research and Development company, the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI), to write a song about the sensationalisation of science for an upcoming CPI documentary which is likely to be broadcast by the BBC and my personal Youtube Channel has obtained over 100,000 views with 450+ subscribers from my original content.
I wrote a business plan prior to my endeavours in September of last year, working effectively to meet my own deadlines, even presenting my findings as part of my dissertation. I opened a "Hail Caesar Productions" business account with Barclays, released several songs online as well as a music video ("Lewisham Now" - has obtained over 11,000 views on my Channel).
