I do not have have my own studio but I do own a good quality microphone. I have Adobe Audition audio editing program which allows me to add special effects and music to my reads if needed. I am a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting so I have lifetime access to their broadcasting studios. Their sound proof studio's are equiped with professional sound boards such as Makie and Radio Systems Millenium Board and professional grade microphones.
I am able to write copy for any type of need wheter it be a commercial advertisement for a business or service provider. I can write, voice and produce the full product. This is an advantage because I can cut down the work of three people to one. Check out the commercial in my demo where I say "be your own star" I wrote that commercial for a studio that gives birthday parties for kids.
I also have great communication skills. I worked in the field of customer service for over 7 and have become proficient at communicated with people in order to acheive the highest level of customer satisfaction. Effective communication involves knowing how to speak to people. The way you use the inflection in your voice can set the mood for the conversation that you are having with a customer. I have mastered the skill of using my voice to let customers know that they are important and that I value their loyalty as a customer. This skill is also beneficial for voice over work because the tone and the inflection in your voice sets the mood for the read. A great voice over artist is able to be versatile with their inflection which enables them to create more diverse reads.
