I have had 2 parallel careers- a teacher and a singer. As a teacher I had to enunciate clearly and be a bit of a performer - using my voice as my primary tool to control a classroom and convey each lesson. I had to vary my inflections, cadences, and tones to keep my classes attention. As a singer I had to do much the same, knowing how to sing the same notes in the same passage in a multitude of ways to add different shades of color to the performance. Professional singer of all types of music. B.S. in Education and Music Minor, Voice over work for slide shows internally for school presentations. My latest voice venture is that I will be the announcer for the Western Pennsylvania Kennel Club Dog Show to be held at the David Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA on March 29 and 30th.
