Bilingual Storyteller - Trusted Guide - Cool Aunt Energy (Always In-the-Know)

Hi, I’m Sonia, a voice actor who brings warmth, clarity, and a little sparkle to every project. Whether it’s a national commercial, a museum audio tour, or the friendly voice you hear when you call your doctor’s office, I help brands and organizations connect with their audiences in a way that feels real and memorable.
As a bilingual performer (English/Español), I love breathing life into scripts across both languages. It’s more than just translation, it’s about tone, nuance, and making sure every word resonates. Clients trust me to deliver audio that hits the mark, tells the story, and drives results.
I work out of a professional home studio (Whisper Room booth, Rode NTG-1 mic, Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 80 ohm headphones, Scarlett 2i2 interface, Mac Mini + Twisted Wave DAW - if you’re into the specs). That setup means I can turn around high-quality, broadcast-ready audio fast and reliably, which is exactly what my clients count on.
Before voiceover, I spent three decades in the construction industry. Yup! 30 years. I learned a ton, built some amazing relationships, and developed a serious work ethic. But eventually, I listened to that creative nudge and made a bold pivot into acting. Total career 180! Since then, I’ve trained in stage, film, and voiceover, and while I love it all, voice acting is where my heart truly lives.
Giving back is part of who I am too. I spent over a decade volunteering as a 4H community leader and teacher (so yes, I know how to wrangle a group of excited kids and explain the finer points of chicken care). These days, I volunteer at a local nonprofit radio station, where I write and deliver the daily community calendar. It’s a small thing, but it means a lot to the people tuning in.
When I’m not behind the mic, you’ll find me baking something sweet, feeding my little golden Sebrights, or hanging out with friends and family - you know, the people who make life good.
