I Have been doing voice acting for about two years now. However, some of that time was lost to a bout with breast cancer. That is all behind me now and the prognosis is excellent. I have done fairly well both before and after all the treatments. Unfortunaltely, I did have to let several job offers go during my down times but, overall, I have done OK since my return to voice-acting. I love to do this type of work. Hopefully, it shows in my demos. I will soon sign a contract to do audiobooks for ipods for a British company.
Montclair State College - BS in Health Professions; Sarah Lawrence College - MS in Human Genetics; completed Dan Levine's Voice Over Master Class; Voice Over Workshop at local high school; Senior Player at PaperMill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ; Cabaret singing workshop at the same facility; do annual shows at the PaperMill Playhouse; and sing at local nursing homes in New Jersey; in addition sang in church choir for 12 years and previously did volunteer work as a reader for the blind.
I have a complete home studio which includes Pro-Tools and an M-box plus an On-stage Stands Microphone. I am PC based. I do have access to a local studio at a great rate per hour should that be a requirement for a project.
Since I have an extensive science and math background in addition to a variety of musical skills, I feel that I have many areas that can be beneficial to clients. Acting is also something that I love to do almost as much as voice overs. Singing, however, is my first love.
