Hey there! I’m Cara—full-time voice actor, former teacher, theatre nerd, and proud owner of a “non-announcery” voice.
Since 2015, I’ve had the joy of bringing stories to life for amazing brands like Amazon, Intel, Microsoft, Gerber, Avalon Waterways, Circle K, Nestlé, and plenty more. My sound is smooth, upbeat, and relatable- the kind of voice that feels like a trusted friend (with great mic technique). It’s a great fit for commercials, corporate narration, and eLearning, especially when you want your message to actually connect.
I record from my cozy StudioBricks booth using a Neumann TLM 103 mic and an Apollo Twin interface, backed by some seriously fun audio software. My studio is nestled in one of the quietest neighborhoods in all of Colorado- something my live session clients really appreciate. No leaf blowers, no barking dogs. Just me and a clean signal.
Before VO, I spent years in the classroom and on Chicago stages. That combo taught me how to take direction like a pro, stay loose in the booth, and make sessions fun and easy for everyone involved. Zero diva energy here... unless you ask for it. :)
And if you ever want to chat about the microbiome or debate the merits of Mediterranean vs. carnivore (please don’t), I’m your girl. My mom’s a retired nurse, so I was raised on wellness talk, and I’ve read more medical studies than is probably socially acceptable. I’ve tried every diet under the sun, from keto to to-hell-with-carbs, and somehow still find nutrition science fascinating.
