When I worked at Bancroft School in Worcester, MA several years ago, as part of my job, I made all the on-hold messages that continually played everyday. I also made all the changing messages such as school cancellations, presentation of emergency information and updates of sporting events. These messages were kept on their voice messaging system for years after I left because I was told I had the nicest voice they'd ever heard.
I have no formal training in doing voice overs. I am simply looking into it because people have responded to the sound of my voice and I thought I might have some talent. In my current job, my boss hired an agency to do voice overs for the company. She told the representative that came out that she wanted my voice on all of it and he said okay. Later on, when someone else called to set it up, she was told that we had to use their pre-recorded voices that they have. She was angry and told them that they couldn't possibly have one as nice as mine.
All I can say is I have a voice that I can mold into how you want it to sound. Overall, people tell me they love my voice.
