I started doing voice-over in college for some of the various theater productions I was involved in. Singing a spooky song for a production of 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" made me realize the impact a voice-over can have on the audience's experience. Now I'm living in LA and acting but voice-over keeps finding it's way into my life and I LOVE it. What a fun, creative way to express characters and tell stories! I recently did the voices for "Glinda the Good Witch", "Dorothy", and "Toto" for "Adventure in Oz", a facebook promotion game for the movie "Dorothy of Oz" through Summertime Entertainment. I have also played "Sally" in a math-learning game for junior-high school students. I have an English major and a Theatre minor from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I feel that this combination of degrees is uniquely suited to the voice-over industry because it allows me to be familiar with the grammatical structure and inflection of lines at-a-glance, and also allows me to connect to the characters. I have done on-camera hosting and have worked extensively as a product spokes-model which makes me great with difficult dialogue. I have extensive sales and spokes-model experience which allows to me relate to the consumer side of any product. I can asses how I would sell that product in-person and translate that to the script in a way that is genuine and passionate. I also know how to have fun, and I believe if you aren't having any fun recording, no one is having fun listening!
