There you go!!!
Honor Graduate at Columbia School of Broadcasting, was offered an instructor position but couldn't do it at the time. 1988-1990
The remainder of my education and training was "hands on" experience in the industry.
Attended a voice over seminar in 1996 at PROMAX/BDA in Los Angeles, Ca featuring the legend, Gary Owens.
I was always a good singer and had good voice control...was a member of my high school elite singing group and competed in various vocal competitions at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio receiving several Gold Medals.
I have performed in several musicals including: Hello Dolly, The Sound of Music and The Music Man to mention a few.
I have conducted numerous interviews with stars from the music and movie world..I enjoy writing copy and when I'm in a professional studio, love to piece together "difficult" production elements to make the spot sound great. I do not get intimidated by huge mixing boards..lol.
Right now, I have editing software and a home studio.
I am very knowledgeable about audio equipment in general from all of the various systems I have worked with throughout the years.
I am for real ! Down to earth with NO ego. I do this for the LOVE of doing it....it's not forced and I believe that makes the final product more convincing and authentic. I am in no way a "Deep Voiced" movie trailer announcer but I do have a style that is just as good but with a different delivery and vocal method.
I started out as a child reading ads in the local newspaper, turning them into spots. It has been with me since I can remember....I put my heart and soul into it and I hope you give me a chance to prove my worthiness.
