I've spent the last 12 years working on-camera and behind the scenes in television and radio. I was the voice and face of a popular new home show for four years on DFW's ABC affiliate and was referred to as "the girl everyone wants to wake up to on Sunday morning" because of my smooth, deep voice. I later went on to host a show on ABC that introduced the lastest medical procedures hitting the world of health care.
Two specific qualities that my clients find most valuable in me is my ability to quickly master difficult reads, such as narration in documentaries or industrials. Because I record in my own studio I'm also able to quickly deliver voice projects.
I have performed voice-over and on-camera work for such clients as: Exterra Broadband, Dallas Morning News, Zales Jewelry, Hot On! Homes, Hot On! Health and Beauty, Halliburton, Alcon, homeferret.com, Harmony Products, Texas Housing Hall of Honor, Dallas Homebuilders Association and Texas Association of Builders Star Awards to name a few.
I received 10 years of classical voice training and have taken part in many acting workshops. I have a Business Communications B.A, degree, with a specialization in Public Speaking.
I do have my own studio and use the Audacity software program to record. I have the latest and greatest voice-over microphone, the AKG Perception 220.
While working in television, not only did I host and voice several shows, but I wrote and produced them as well. One of the qualities that my clients like most is that I'm able to help "tweak" scripts to make them sound their best. This is only upon-request, of course!
I am also a seasoned vocalist and have recorded lead vocals and background vocals on half a dozen albums.
