For the Olympics 2012, I was one of the french announcers for the Cardiff football matches which were done live.
Over the years, I have done numerous french language recordings for many companies (BBC, Longman, Linguaphone, Berlitz,...) and for examination listening tests (A level french) where clarity and precision are required.
In the corporate sector, my voice has been used for Marks & Spencer, Body Shop, Kodak, the Japanese tourist board, the Egyptian tourist authority, etc .... I am the french voice of many european guide tours in museum and exhibitions. I have also done numerous annnouncements for airlines (Continental Airlines, Air Liberte, Singapore Airlines...) , inflight programmes (Air Canada) and cross channel ferries (Hoverspeed...).
I have contributed to a number of programme broadcasts for the BBC ,CBC, COI, TF1 (french TV) and done commercials for National Geographic, Travel Channel , Air France, Cacharel, Computer Associates, Weightwatchers, etc...
I have also done film dubbing (Flyboys, the Da Vinci Code...) and some cartoons .
I started to do voice over work from 1977 when I got a radio production job at the BBC. As I was working for the french service (broadcast to France) , I soon find myself involved in doing interviews, live presentation and a weekly broadcast talking about shopping in London. When I worked for Societe radio Canada, I was involved in writing and recording pieces for environmental programmes. Over the years , I became more and more involved in recording language programmes, corporate films, documentaries and commercials. It is such an interesting and varied type of work. I am always working to expand my range to include more cartoon type characters , from young to mature.
