- Experience, training, and equipmentI have been in the voice over world for over fifteen years. I am able to record Union and Non-Union spots. My main focus is commercial recordings however, I now want to branch out into animation and character work. I am re-focused on my career (recently married), and energized in making this amazing field my career!!! VO Duo, 2018 Marla Kirban voice training, 2005 Auditioning since 2005. I record in a spacious New York soundproof closet with Source Connect (the paid version!) and an xlr microphone set up. I currently have Seven year old Chihuahua (technically 1). I can whistle, sing and bartend. I can make a sound like a ufo and a tea kettle. I can also dance, which isn't relevant.
