I am currently working with a home setup featuring an AudioTechnica AT835a microphone with Audacity software with fantastic results. Though this form of recording is perfectly acceptable for auditioning, I most prefer to record bookings from Atlantis and take full advantage of their 2 booths, Pro-Tools, ISDN, ipDTL, Source Connect (paid version), Phone Patch or ZOOM so the client may listen in and provide direction. This method seems to work best for me, and files are delivered through most preferred methods via email or FTP/Dropbox/Google Drive/cloud promptly as requested. Hard working, professionalism, courtesy , punctuality, diligence, and quality are all tools employed when taking on projects, and can all be attributed to my current level of success.
