Brandon Gates is a journalist, audio producer, and storyteller with a passion for uncovering underrepresented narratives and engaging audiences through multiple platforms. With bylines in NPR, The Emancipator, Thrillist, and Investigation Discovery, his work spans culture, politics, and digital disinformation. His expertise in audience strategy and storytelling has allowed him to craft impactful narratives that inform and inspire. Beyond journalism, Brandon is an experienced voice actor, filmmaker, and screenwriter. He produced and co-starred in the award-winning comedy short Podcast Bros, a satire on the rise of hyper-masculine bro podcasts. He’s currently producing, directing, and acting in a fictional narrative podcast about roommates navigating life during the pandemic. His work blends humor, depth, and keen social commentary, bringing fresh perspectives to both news and entertainment. Fluent in English and skilled in narration, character work, and hosting, Brandon’s versatility allows him to bridge news, scripted storytelling, and advocacy. Whether through journalism, podcasting, film, or voice work, his mission remains the same: to tell stories that matter, challenge perceptions, and connect with audiences in meaningful ways.
