New field for me. After you hire me I can then list the fantastic experience we have in this space.
1980 - Governors School for Performing Arts, (PA)
1981-85 BA Teater Arts, PSU - variety of classes and performances
1984-1987 - UHF (band) Keyboards and vocals
1998 - BSEd. Social Studies Education (teachers use their voices in every way imaginable every day, all day)
I do not have studio equipment at home. I have access to some equipment at home. I am the tech director for our school theatrical productions, and occasionally run sound for Tri-Pac theater in Pottstown PA. They use a Yamaha digital sound consol. Doing the U.S. Premiere of new version of Peter Pan with music by George Stiles lyrics by Anthony Drewe, and book by Willis Hall next weekend as consol engineer. Did sound design for Honk! last year.
At our school we run a Soundcraft LXII 32 channel consol, with 14 telex wireless mics(12 lav and 2 hand held) with additional mics from other buildings when needed. We also use 6 overhead condensors to fill in the sound.
Worked on the road for 9 years with the Fabulous Greaseband (NJ version, not Cocker's backup) as LD, but was also responsible for sound set up and occasionally had to mix in a pinch.
The previous sections have a bunch of this sort of background. Lived overseas. My father speaks fluent German and we spent several weeks visiting relatvies in Germany when I was a child. I have a long performance and tech background, am very easy to work with, have a good sense of humor, and always look to make employers happy.
