I have been a stadium announcer since 1997. It has always been my job to make sure that I'm giving clear and precise information in an entertaining way so that people cannot only understand me, but they can relate to me as well.
In 2010, I started to do auditions for professional voiceovers after I took a class that was recommended to me by a friend in the industry and have never looked back from it. From my experience with live hosting and announcing and now audition experience, it has really honed my skill set to do be that much more flexible and adaptable to any situation, great or small.
I received voiceover training through voice experts Emily Rose and Kate Hart in the Detroit, Michigan area. They're the best for a reason!!!
Before that, i have a Bachelors of Music from Bowling Green State University.
All of my life, I have been very involved with the pageantry arts, albeit as a performer, writer, instructor, technician or judge. I have been an announcer and host for many things both pageantry and non-pageantry related. I am very aware of my surroundings and can adjust to any setting with ease.
I do the majority of my recording at Pure Sounds Studios in Utica, Michigan. The equipment we use there is as follows...
Audio-Technica AT2035 Large Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone with pop filter and 12" acoustic shield.
Right now, I currently use Avid ProTools 10 to do the editing and mixing onto an Apple MacBook Pro.
I am easily, the most easy going, flexible, coachable, teachable person you're going to work with. I am a pro at "going with the flow." In my prior career in the casino industry, I've had to be quick on my feet and be ready for any situation. I can be that person for you, also.
Thank you for your time and consideration and I look forward to working with you.
