I started my voice over experience as a night DJ at 100,000 watt KSJT FM radio in San Angelo, TX. The format was Top 40, but the station is now Spanish language. I recorded about a dozen local radio ads and some bumpers and zingers. I developed a voice-directed scheduling system in Nuance SpeechObjects for Tire and Lube Express at Wal Mart which included every voice clip from the numbers one to 1000, every day, month and iteration of time of day... all in all... over 2,000 individual studio clips. I've recorded custom voicemail messages for use with predictive dialers. I've also created voice overs with music for IVR hold music for clients from nursing homes to car dealers. Recently, I worked on a project to create a faux iPhone commercial for McDonalds corporation.
I am a classically trained operatic baritone, trained at the University of Northern Colorado. I was the youngest member ever selected to the Denver Concert Chorale and performed in the first ever US recording of Dvorak's requiem. I have performed as Figaro in Mozart, and as "The Plant" in Little Shop of Horrors, among many other music theater pieces.
I have Macs and PC's, Samson G Track Mic, GarageBand, Final Cut Express
I have access to additional pre and post-production equipment through my personal and professional networks. Two of my neighbors are award-winning audio/video producers and both have full post-prod studios. I have "privileges". ;-)
