I have been a voice actor for years but especially since transitioning from a 32 year career with the Intelligence Community. I have a strong, soothing and trusted voice that is great for storytelling, narrations, commercials, documentaries and live event announcing.
I have voiced projects for both domestic and international clients out of my home studio and can turn around most projects within a day. These projects include industrial narrations, eLearning, corporate explainers, commercials, promos and documentaries. I am also an accomplished narrator and producer of audio books specializing in mysteries, cozy mysteries (it’s really a thing!), romantic comedies and non-fiction. Finally, I am a seasoned live event announcer hosting events in front of thousands of spectators.
I have also been a volunteer reader for the Metropolitan Washington Ear for over a decade, bringing the written word to the blind and visually impaired in the greater Washington, D.C. area. I serve as a member of the MWE’s speaker bureau and represent their interests to local assisted living centers, senior groups and health fairs.

- Experience, training, and equipmentI have been in the voiceover business since 2006 and have voiced industrial narrations, documentaries, eLearning, museum tours, movie trailers, commercials and audio books. I am a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Finance. I first studied the art of voice overs through one-on-one training with John Burr Productions and later with various voice coaches. I have my own home recording studio, a 4x4 Gretch-Ken sound booth, and record using PreSonus Studio One through a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 USB Audio Interface and a AKG C214 Cardioid Condenser Microphone. I am an accomplished public speaker and live event announcer working in front of small (25-50) or large (+10,000) crowds. I have voiced a number of classified projects for the US Government so am discreet and trusted with sensitive content.
