How does one describe their experience and abilities in under 500 characters? Well, let's give it a go! I'm one of nine kids in my family, who all fought to stand out from one another. Yes, talkative, daring, outgoing and attention getting are words to describe my younger days. Who am I kidding we all still do it! I also have a long radio background, so that's where the fun, approachable, sassy, articulate, honest part of my personality come from. But I've been doing VO full-time for over a decade now, and have had the opportunity for other aspects of my persona to shine.
It wouldn't be uncommon for me on any give day to be a bright and youthful voice for a kids network promo, followed an hour later by a confident, serious, mysterious narrator for a crime documentary. Many days I voice cheerful and relatable car ads, but I also book regularly for the soothing, classy luxury car spots too. I'm probably most natural at being a kind, supportive, midwestern (and lately Southern) Mom, because that is what I am at heart.
