About Bob
I have had wide experience as a character actor and presenter for business and can deliver warm narration material, multiple characterizations for audio books, both sexy and smooth for commercials and fun characters for presentations. A Midwesterner by birth, I've lived in the NY area for many years, as well as in the South, have traveled extensively and do many dialects. Member of Actors Equity. Classically trained as an actor and playwright(Yale Drama School), I've done legit theatre in many regional theatres, in roles ranging from Neil Simon to Shakespeare. I have done film roles as well with a major film being released in 2011.
I have been VP Marketing for a manufacturer in NY and have created print, radio and video promos, as well as doing management training seminars.
I am a playwright and three of my full length plays reached semi-finals in national playwriting contests in 2009 (one is being published in 2010-11), while four of my ten-minute plays have been done in the US and abroad.

My voice has been described as "believable", "deep", and "sexy". Comedy timing is a specialty, but I've done threatening villains as well. I use a Snowball plugged into my Ipad to generate Mp3 recordings on TwistedWave and use Visual Mp3 joiner and splitter for additional editing. As a sales, marketing and advertising/pr person operating in the business world for 40 years, I am sensitive to the needs of clients in reaching their prospects and customers in a professional and believable way. It is that persuasive capability that I bring to your voice-over project.
