For 20+ years, I've been behind a microphone daily. Done it for networks and agencies. Trained with the best. Won huge awards. But what really matters is it's fun. You can read the stuff below. But whatever you want, just ask. I answer.
Radio and TV. State Farm Auto Insurance, Bud Light, TJ Maxx, AAA. Or Hundreds of commercials he’s written and voiced for markets from LA to NYC. Done a lot.
Also, technical videos, financial presentations, business e-learning courses, live-event announcements. The sounds are clear, authoritative, He always sounds like he knows what he's talking about, even when he doesn't. It's a good skill to have.
Blaine Parker is, at heart, a true radio ad geek. He counts Dick Orkin, Chuck Blore, Bob & Ray, and The Firesign Theater among his formative influences. Not to mention the advertising greats, including Ogilvy, Bernbach, Stan Richards and Howard Gossage.
A national award-winner in both Voiceover and Copywriting, the tin on Blaine’s shelf includes Radio Mercury, Mobius, Silver Mic, Tesla, ADDY and SCBA.
A chronic writer, Blaine is also the author of various books on radio advertising and branding, and a collaborator on several screenplays circling various levels of development hell.
Blaine escaped from Los Angeles with his writer/director wife, Honey. They presently reside in the mountains around Park City, UT. Blaine was raised by wolves in Greenwich, Connecticut. This may account for the urbane yet snarky sound. It’s in the breeding. Or maybe the water. Perhaps both.
