Thanks for checking out my profile! Voice Actor for 2 years. 15 years in TV broadcast.
MY VOICE...
My voice is conversational, authentic, friendly, warm, and compelling. My vocal pitch is deep to upper-middle range.
My voiceovers include commercials for wireless providers, software companies, food & beverage, and various explainer videos. Check out my commercial demo for the best example of my expertise.
I'm able to do a few accents including a Southern Appalachia to sound as country as Tow Mater (aka Larry the Cable Guy), if you want. My accent abilities also include some British (received pronunciation and Cockney), Irish, and Australian.
You can reach me through Voice123, but also contact me on my website www.robertblainevo.com Or, email me at blaine@robertblainevo.com.
MY STUDIO...
I spent a year building my home studio. It's separate from my actual home, with thick walls, sound dampening insulation. Inside, an insulated VO booth to keep sound out and professional bass traps to get the best sound inside. I record with a TLM 103 microphone and edit with Adobe Audition, using pro-sound equipment to make sure it comes out right. You can see photos on my website.
BOOKING...
I'm open to working outside of normal business hours, but I'm usually in M-F 8am-5pm and can turn around projects within 2-4 hours; depending on the length and depth of your voiceover.
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME...
I'm a former journalist and for 15 years, I worked in the Television industry voicing and presenting news, along with promotional content. I respect deadlines and the importance of getting it right!
My career path has also given me perspective on life-which I bring to my voice over performance. I love voice acting and love making clients happy. Plus, this career gives me time to be a good Dad and Husband, which also just happens to make me a better voiceover artist.
