Virgil Edward Bascombe | Voice over actor

Hi There, I am a 49 year old writer and spoken word artist, with a rich, baritone texture to my voice. I have done a voiceover acting course with JP Orr, from The Showreel in London, where I was advised that the quality of my voice could be used for multiple types of voiceover work. I then found myself doing spoken word poetry performances, and being well received for my projection, and clarity of delivery, so, have subsequently been developing a catalogue of well over 800 pieces of poetry, of which, 200+ Vocal Recordings have been done, recorded within the last 6 months, at Commercial Music Inc. in Barbados. Development of vocal techniques, tones, and styles of performance have been honed to produce, high quality, dynamic vocals, be they aggressive or more pensive, my voice is easy on the ear. This has subsequently led to my doing three albums of music, one which was done with Mike Peden, named as one of the top ten producers of the decade, by Billboard, in 2009 I am a multi-faceted vocalist, who has, as previously stated, been told on numerous occasions that my voice could be used for anything from Movie Announcing, to Audiobooks, so, take a listen and let's get to working.
