About Mike
I have been on the air on the Central Coast of California since 1988 and have been the radio play by play voice for several high school football programs since 1995 and, since 1996 have been the Public Address Announcer for Cal Poly (San Luis Obispo) Mustang Athletics. I maintained a successful sportscast, The Bigscoop On Sports for 14 years on KOTR 94.9 FM. I now live in Redmond Oregon with my wife, Ann and our Yellow Lab, Shasta and a bunch of fly rods!
A nugget from way back....when my voice began to change, my mother, while we were seated at the dinner table and having a conversation would always say, "Michael, I am NOT across the street!" In reference to the early stages of what was tuning into a rather big voice.
