I am an aspiring voice actor. I have no professional experience other than the scratch VOs that I have done for various shows that I have produced for, which is my primary career. I have provided this service for several shows such as Wife Swap, MADE, and Discovery Channel's Storm Chasers. My scratch reads for Storm Chasers were good enough that I was for a time being considered to replace the actual hired voice actor because he had a difficult time matching my speed and intensity. The network became accustomed to hearing my voice in the rough cuts of the show because my reads added an element of excitement.
Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami. Dual Majors in Broadcast Journalism and Creative Writing. Voice Over Acting course at the New School in New York. I work in television production and am very familiar with the voice over recording process having provided scratch VOs for nearly every show I've worked on. Once my executive producers hear my voice, they make me do the VOs.
No home studio equipment
As previously mentioned, I work in television and know all that's involved with recording VO. Although I have no professional experience, I do not need to be shown how to record a VO or how to take direction.
