I love language. I have two acting degrees and my favorite part about that discipline is getting to work with language, so it's only fitting that I should have such an affinity for voiceover; a medium focused entirely on the spoken word. Additionally, I inherited a pleasant baritone register and a strong facility for diction which makes for a pretty solid voice talent, if I may be so bold.
Very early on, I developed a propensity for impressions. I would demonstrate for anyone who would listen and, unbelievably, I'm told that never became tiresome. To this day, I enjoy recreating friends' mannerisms for them at social gatherings. After all, everyone can use a little dose of self-consciousness from time to time. This, too, has proven infinitely valuable as an application for voice acting.
Aside from the performance element, I'm also quite adept with audio engineering. I have an ear for detail and it doesn't hurt that I'm an unrelenting perfectionist. I've honed these skill sets over the last fifteen years without losing any passion for the work. I put everything I've got into every project I voice.
