About Benjamin
I was a good kid and a good student but I'd get in trouble for making noises and doing voices in class. Always been fascinated by the different sounds a human mouth can make. I work in software development but am looking to leverage the internal work I did for my previous employer to see what other voice opportunities would be a good fit for me.

- Experience, training, and equipmentWorking for a language-learning software company as an editor and curriculum specialist since 2009, I've been one of the few internal staff to pass our own American English voice audition. My voice is heard in both beginner and intermediate/advanced English language-learning and literacy products aimed at both teens and adults. In addition to neutral standard English voice modeling for beginning learners, I've provided documentary-style voiceover as well as characters including a commercial pilot, a movie announcer, a fright-night TV host, and a cool cat! - Several years of (music) voice lessons at the high school and undergraduate levels - Focus on linguistics in both bachelor's and master's degrees - Basic to advanced speaking proficiency in several languages besides English
