I have started voice over work only recently in May of 2014. It is something that took me by storm and has steered my passions into this profession. I am, however, well-versed in performance arts, mainly theatre, so I have dabbled in using the voice professionally.
I am a student of SUNY Binghamton graduating year 2015. I dedicated all of my years at school into theatre and the performing arts. When it comes to creating characters or bringing the musicality/tonality and color into a voice, I am rather skilled. I found that voice over is very similar to theatre in that sound is what mainly drives the message that is being set. During my time in the theatre department at Binghamton, I have worked with incredibly harsh and demanding, yet ambitious and sagacious directors. From them, I have learned the in and outs of theatre mechanics and techniques, but one thing I took with me concretely is the ability to make adjustments and experiment.
I do not own my own studio or have a home studio, but i have recording equipment and audios programs that can assure good quality recordings
-Apogee USB MiC
-Twisted Wave Audio Program
I have worked at various after school institutions, tutored, and have been a receptionist so I am incredibly social and have absolutely no qualms or difficulties meeting with people or adjusting myself to different situations. I don a very casual tone in my voice most of the time, but i tend to be very passionate about things and can become rather outspoken when necessary.
