Many times over the last 15 years or so, both women and men stopped a conversation to tell me my voice was attractive and enjoyable to listen to and should pursue voice work. I of course was flattered, but did not take it really seriously until recently.
Officially my voice over career began mid-2013 when I was approached by in-house corporate media staff. They commented on my voice quality and they have now asked me several times to add my voice to their corporate video productions. I recently completed a series of recordings for an internal client who required a voice to help motivate employees on customer service skills. I have received very favorable feedback to the results of that project.
I now have a healthy respect for voice over talents and a better working knowledge of the requirements a client may require.
I do not have any official education directly related to communications or voice training. I have gone through video and audio editing in Burbank/Hollywood.
In my home studio, I have an AKG mic, DPS tube Pre-amp, and use Sony audio editing software. I have a working knowledge of audio compression, files types, and delivery methods. I can complete basic audio tracks including levels, pops, adding music and sound effects.
I am a very creative individual who respects all kinds of media projects. I myself have been involved with many personal and professional media projects and completely understand the passion that surrounds such endeavors. I treat each one with complete respect and sincerity. Being part of any media project is exciting and very rewarding.
