Hello, welcome to my profile.
I am a 40-year-old male voice actor from northern England with a drama degree, who has gradually learned how to become a voice actor through both my drama training, books, and various videos I have watched to further my education in the field.
I started in 2020 with nothing but a basic microphone and back filter, a very basic editing program, and no real idea how to advance my career all while working as a cleaner in a school to make ends meet. Since then I have remained at my job in the school, used the money from it to construct a professional workspace, and had various jobs to my name in voice acting especially recently when I spent a considerable amount of money on a professional level microphone.
My voice varies depending on the job, I tend to look at the text and simply use my own training and instinct to find what is required. I would describe my voice as friendly, adaptable, energetic, approachable, funny, and honest. But as I have said I tend to work with what I have and don't consider myself to have a favorite voice.
The jobs I have had include an audiobook which was very early in my career I don't think back on with much pride, various character jobs, four recent YouTube jobs, and some miscellaneous work too with vocal examples and simply doing what I am told.
I will admit I haven't had a continuous period of work but I have worked around my job and want to work as a voice actor and that's what drives me forward with each job, I want to satisfy my client and show that I am a truly great voice actor.
