I was a Philadelphia radio personality for many years; my first professional job was straight out of college into WYSP-FM (almost unheard of - radio people most often work their way up from smaller markets). Then it was onto WIOQ-FM, and WFIL-AM; as the first girl "boss jock" at WFIL, I worked with many of the greats of the business and really learned my craft. Later, I was production director of Power 99FM in Philadelphia, simultaneously managing a 5-hour, 6-day a week midday air shift AND shooting a TV show for CBS 3 called "Check It Out" with Jerry Penacoli. Recording and voicing spots were part of my daily radio jobs, so as I outgrew radio, this part of it grew into a fun, very lucrative freelance career that allows a lot of freedom. I'm perfectionistic about my work, and I always work hard to please my clients, often asking for an extra take because I know I can still do it better. I would hope I'm good at it, too; if a spot is coming in at 59.5 seconds and it needs to be :60, I know how long an extra half second is and how to get it where it needs to go. Cold reads are also a specialty of mine, so, when called upon, I can get a job finished for you even faster than the average bear! I am my client's last line of defense, so you can depend on me to have your best interests at heart (and at voice). Let me represent your product and help make your project a success! I'm silly. I write and have a razor sharp knack for grammer (and, also, like, how people talk, ya know?). I keep sessions rolling, and like to have a good time while on mic; I like to make my clients laugh and remember me for being professional and exuding good will.
