IVR - Flare Personals - First Media Group, Toronto * this was my first voice over work and I loved it! I worked in a downtown studio and did a light, 30-something sound (more serious) for this Dating System IVR - Sun Personals - First Media Group, Toronto * this was a 20-something sound ('just for fun'), very up and light sounding Dating System Voice Actor - "Space Attack" - Award Winning short animation, StoryZoo Studios, Toronto * I played Lt. Bimbo McSnatchy, a not-so-bright, busty astronaut who always seemed to be having her own conversations which no one else could follow. Honours B.A. Linguistics, York University 2001 - this included a number of courses in phonetics (great help for voice work), Kinesiology (great understanding of how the voice works and how to use it) Grade Thirteen Voice - Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto, studied with the great Ina Goldsband Ear Training Courses - Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto Ability to record and send files in numerous ways using my "studio" which consists of my "sound booth" MacBook, Tascam Midi interface, Microphone and a variety of software. I am a happy person! I love doing my job and you can tell. I have been singing and performing on the stage since I was a child. I teach singing lessons and do voice work with stage actors. I have worked at many, many jobs in my life as I find the world an interesting place. I have worked in surgery with a veterinarian, I have transcribed numerous things, I have worked as an assistant Speech Language Pathologist (THAT makes you aware of language I tell you what!), I have done security (they LOVED my "BIG voice" as they called it) and I have managed a bar, just to name some. I take something away from everything I do and I always give one hundred percent.
