About Ashton
I am an audiobook narrator and producer as well as a voice talent with a diverse vocal range. In my sound treated home studio, I work with broadcast quality equipment including A Rode Nt1-A condenser microphone with a Focusrite Scarletti22 interface on my Mac desktop computer. I edit and master all my audio files using Audacity to give my clients a clean and professional sound.
In my current position as a freelance Voice Actor I provide voice talent to independent clients for commercials, radio spots, audiobook narration, corporate voice mail recordings, video games, telephony, and much more. I have strong reading comprehension and follow direction well. In addition I have a flexible schedule with the ability to meet clients’ needs. I have worked for many years to develop my crisp strong toned voice and speak with clear diction and a versatility to adjust to each individual project. Clients have applauded my talent for following directions and interpreting their needs requiring few takes in order to deliver just what they imagined. Although I may be a new Voice Talent within Voice123, I am not new to the field of Voice Acting.
I have been acting since I was 4 years old with credits at the High School, College, and Community Theatre levels. I have a strong Musical Theatre background and have been recognized by the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival with double Irene Ryan nominations for my roles as “Mary Warren” in The Crucible and “Philia” in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. In addition to my stage credits, I have also produced over 100 audiobooks through ACX that showcase my talents to bring engagement and storytelling to both fiction and nonfiction titles.
