About Ashley
My voice is very colorful and diverse, due to my work in maximizing the use of it in any way I can. My strongest range is my lower register, as this is where my voice sits naturally, and is ideal for creating a sexy or dominant character (mothers, wives, mistresses, secretaries, etc).
This range also allows me to hit registers of male tonal qualities, allowing me to cross over gender lines should this ever be asked of me.
Accessing the child-like part of my voice lies in my mid-high register-- I can sounds like anything from a pre-teens girl to a young male adult (elementary-university students, athletes, etc.)
One of my hobbies is to create sound scapes, not always recording them, but discovering the variety and scope of sounds and tones I am able to make. This form of play allows me to delve into an infants approach of communication-- wanting to speak, but not having the words to use (in my case, actively choosing to use sounds and tones rather than words to communicate).
I very much like experimenting, and am still developing and growing, constantly learning new things about my voice, so please don't hesitate to request a task of me that is not mentioned in the above or below-- I am willing to try anything!
