Holger Eberle aka AquaeVoice – Voice Actor (Sprechalter 30–50), Audio Craftsman, Wine Philosopher, and Reasonably Sane Human Being
Right. So here’s the thing.
I talk for a living.
Into a microphone.
In a small, quiet room.
Surrounded by blinking lights, vintage microphones, and half-finished glasses of Primitivo.
You might say I’m a voice actor. But really, I’m more of a vocal alchemist: combining timing, tone, text and a splash of Cabernet Sauvignon to create something that doesn’t just sound good — it feels good. (Your script deserves to be more than just background noise, after all.)
What do I sound like?
Imagine your favourite wine telling a bedtime story.
Or David Attenborough explaining a bizarre IKEA catalogue.
Or a calm, intelligent narrator with a dry wit and a dash of Monty Python absurdity.
I speak fluent German and crystal-clear international English, free from distracting accents — unless you want one. Then I’ll bring out the Bavarian, the Brit, or the oddly cheerful android.
Studio Specs
• Rode NT1-A for silky presence
• Vintage Sennheisers for that gritty gravitas
• A Shure SM58 from the 90s that refuses to die
• Cubase (surgically EQ’d)
• Focusrite Scarlett Solo (the 4th-gen one with optional fairy dust), and Universal Audio Volt 276
• Absolutely no background noise. Unless my dog howls backup.
Clients include:
Overload Studios, City of Baden-Baden, CMS Egypt, voices.com, Handwerkskammer Karlsruhe, mww gGmbH — and one guy who wanted a dramatic voiceover for his tortoise's birthday. (True story. Sort of.)
Turnaround & Availability
I deliver most projects within 24 hours. Often faster.
Need a live-directed session? I offer that too — via Zoom. I wear headphones, nod thoughtfully, and pretend to be calm even when my software crashes.
Live-Directed Hours:
Mon–Tue: 08:00–18:00 CET
Wed–Thu: 15:00–18:00 CET
Fri: 12:00–18:00
Sat–Sun: Upon request, especially if wine is mentioned.
What I offer:
✓ Commercials with character
✓ Documentaries with depth
✓ Audiobooks with atmosphere
✓ Imagefilms with elegance
✓ Explainers that don’t sound like an insurance hotline
✓ And scripts that need a human being, not just a voice.
What I don’t do:
✗ Shouting into a tin can
✗ “Epic Movie Trailer” clichés (unless ironic)
✗ Pretending to be an AI. I am AI-compatible, but flesh-based.
Edits & Revisions
• Mispronunciations? I’ll fix them. No charge.
• Pacing & tone feedback? Two free rounds. Then we’re talking $10 per extra.
• Script rewrites? One free round if under 10%. After that, $20 per round. More than 10%? Let’s chat and toast to clarity.
And yes, I like wine.
From Primitivo to Zinfandel, from Cabernet Sauvignon to Saint-Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage — I believe the right voiceover, like the right wine, should linger just long enough to make people smile and say:
“Well, that was unexpectedly perfect.”
So if you're after a seasoned, subtly humorous, sonically satisfying voice that brings genuine warmth and charm to your project — let's work together.
I promise to be professional, pleasant, and only mildly peculiar.
