The year was 1965. The early morning sun warmed the sleepy little sidewalk where I stood enrapt by the disc jockey at WING-AM in Dayton, Ohio. "This is my future", I chimed, in a way of persuading the fates. Turned out I was right! By 1970, I was interning at KDVS in Davis, California. Eventually, I graduated from Brown School of Broadcasting in Ft. Lauderdale, and went on to work at several radio stations including WQDI in Homestead, Florida, and KVSF and KAFE in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where I specialized in pre and post production excellence.
During my training at Brown School of broadcasting, I fell in love with the art of sales using a variety of time tested appeals.
I developed a knack for copywriting and doing voice over for radio and television production. Over the past thirty years, I have perfected the voice of authority and confidence for communicating such staples as news and sports. And I take professional delight in using a wide range of voice characterization, inspired by both animation and parody, to achieve results.
Aside from my passion for creating the perfect voice over characterizations for your enterprise, I am a musician with an extensive knowledge of music styles, production techniques, incuding mixing, dubbing and all things related. I love the history of music and am proud of a encyclopedic knowledge of pop music. When not doing voice over work, I amuse myself in my recording studio by writing jingles and backround tracks.
