Home studio with Kube Silver Diamond recording booth, set up for live remote direction and equipped with SSL2 and Focusrite pre-amps and primarily using an Aston Origin mic. More than a decade since I recorded my first voiceover, my voiceover work includes radio and TV commercials and promos, corporate promotional and in-house videos, animations and multimedia, and automated telephone systems. I've been a One Voice Awards shortlisted finalist on six occasions, including for three categories at the 2021 UK awards: Best Male Demo, Best Male Radio Ad, Best Male TV commercial. Assorted online training. After taking plays on tour in Europe and studying drama at university, I worked in communications and public relations, before moving into copywriting. As a freelancer, my work was pure copywriting and editing, until the number of clients asking me if I would voice their explainer videos, corporate presentation tracks, ads and even voice of god for award ceremonies became too great to ignore. My acting background and years of copywriting and copy editing for everything from video scripts and speeches to non-fiction and novels, means I have an innate understanding of rhythm and delivery for maximum impact.
