I have been active in voice over for the past seven years. I received training through The New York Voice Over Success Program and commenced to do variety of jobs for:
NYU: "The Last Word"
A serial radio type performance of an Issac Asimov science fiction novel.
Date: June 16th 2007
PBS/Channel 13:
"A Growing Hunger: The Global Crisis of Cotton Subsidies"
A documentary addressing the plight of under served cotton farmers.
Air date: March 9th, 2007
**This was my first voice over job, but what made it extra special was that they hired my little daughter for a role when the other actress didn't show up. Very special moment for both of us.
Scholastic Books: "System 44"
A new online learning corriculum making reading easier for forth and fifth graders.
Recorded for company website: November 30th, 2007
Child Health Plus and Medicaid:
A New York state advertisement promoting the inexpensive availability of health insurance for families without coverage.
Company: Kipany Productions
Aired for television: March 2008
Status: Currently aired on local Television and cable
**Felt like a rock star after doing this gig, because I would get to work and my coworkers would all tell me how many times they heard the commercial that day.
House Of The Dead:Overkill
Company: Pitstop Productions
**If I said this was a fun gig I'd be lying. There is no one word to state what a total, incomparable blast this was to do. My character in the game is more popular in Japan than Godzilla, believe it or not. I was nominated for best new character in a video game for 2009 and I'm in the Guiness Book of World Records for the most profanity by a video game character. My wife is a devout christian. You can imagine how thrilled she was about that:)
The stories about my career abound, but if you hire me you'll get all that cool experience as well as one hell of a business professional.
Trained at:
The New York Voice Over Success Program
Date: February to march of 2006
Coached by: Daniel Japlin
I have attended voice over training seminars with:
Edge Studios, Susan Berkley and David Zema
Samson c10u microphone
Nch Wavepad audio editing software
Along with voice over I have branched out to other areas of the performing and literal arts:
Screenwriting
I currently have completed an animation and two comedy scripts, all of which have placed in the top thirty of their respective screenplay competitions.
Playwriting
I had my first written play "Back To Back" performed at the Producers club in August 2006 as a semi-finalist in the Strawberry One Act play festival.
Web Hosting
I am currently the online web host for Broadcastmytalent where I interview some of the top names in the comicbook and science fiction media. We will soon branch out into other venues such as fashion shows and sporting events, and have begun producing short films that will be submitted to film festivals and marketed for online down loading.
Cartooning
I am the artist for the independant comic strip
"Whoz Your Daddy". After much positive feedback doing promotional work for the strip at the recent Tribeca Film Festival, plans are currently in the works to produce an animated version of "Whoz Your Daddy", as well as a stage production and audio book. I plan to do the voice for at least one of the characters when the final editing of the animation has been completed.
The cartoon was also well received at two film festivals in 2010.
Acting
I performed the role of Barone Scott in my stage play "Back To Back" when my lead actor was suddenly taken ill. What a blast!
