I will be honest. This is my first time in the voice over field. I am currently a manager for a Comfort Inn Hotel in Deland FL. I've been in the hotel business for the past 4 years. When I met my brother in law for the first time he complimented on my voice and that I should look into any voice over jobs. In fact I am registering for this site at work right now and a guest just complimented me on my voice. So it seems like I have the voice I just need to get it out there.
I have no voice over experience. I went school for business and administration. I use my voice everday in the hospitality business. In college I worked for a movie theater and my voice was recorded to mention time listings for movies for folks who called to inquire. I also have a consistant amount of phone converstaions such as making a reservation for a guest at the hotel I work at, helping guest with reservations, etc. I make sure to sound in a way they understand and can believe what I say. Have trust in my voice. Having a deep and smooth voice I tend to get compliments about it and folks who are pleased to speak with me. I'm seeking for new oppurtunites and possibly another career.
I am looking to pursue a possible career in this field.
Hospitality Business. I deal with customers in person or on the phone on a daily basis. My voice is being heard by these folks. I need to make sure these guests are well informed and can be able to understand me. I naturally have a deep voice. I also speak in a professional manner at work. This way I can sound positive and comforting to any guest who have questions or concerns.
