I live in London for last 20 years. I worked in Poland as a radio presenter/reporter in Kraków. I also have some experience of working in community radio in London. I had my own radio show in Sound Radio. I am Film and Media University of London graduate.
I had a work experience at the BBC and did voice-over for Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies and The House of Greenland. I managed to be on a few film sets as an extra in 28 weeks later with Robert Carlyle, Spooks with Rupert Penry-Jones, Last Chance Harvey with Emma Thompson and Dustin Hoffman, Hippie Hippie Shake with Sienna Miller, Shanghai with John Cusack.
I have an experience of working for the radio as a presenter, journalist, reporter, voice over for about 10 years. I also did 2 years of drama school in Poland. I had lessons with a professional actors, who worked with me on my voice (singing lessons, poetry reading, drama acting, ballet etc). In my opinion if someone wants to work in voice over should remember to breath properly, do not eat or drink anything a few hours before a recording because it could stay in your throat! It is essential to use your imagination, be relaxed, natural. Always stay professional at any cost.
I am also a professional interpreter/translator. Mainly work in Polish and English. There wasn't a situation I haven't been in and case I haven't heard. I am always prepared that something might not go according to a plan. However, no matter what stay under control, calm and professional.
I have two projects going on but they are on hold due to not being able to find a publisher in the UK which will published a great book "The door to Hell" by Maria Nurowska. I have a written permeation that I am the translator for her book!
