I have growing experience in the way of jobs, outside of unpaid, in-store announcements for my current job, and independent re-dubs of cartoons or movie trailers that I do just for fun. I am, however, currently working with the production of an online video game entitled 'Screaming Sky' , which is based outside of London, England. I do have a radio show on my university's student radio station as well, which I really enjoy. I am learning a lot from it. I also have roughly six years experience in high school and church choir as a bass II.
I am currently a student at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. Through my university, an Introduction to Voice Overs seminar was given by a company called Voicer For All. I jumped at this opportunity and participated in that seminar, in which we all recorded a VO spot for evaluation. The company called me back a few days later with my evaluation, saying I sound professional, announcer-like, and more experienced than I am. After consideration, I decided to enroll in a Master Class that VFA offers in Albany, New York. I attended this class in March of 2008 and learned a wealth of new material, as well as recording a few demo reels.
I have a number of other skills that can be advantageous in this industry. I am competent in Photoshop and often do independent projects in it just for fun. I also believe myself to be competent in video and audio editing; I have made a number of music videos with different TV shows and songs, which can be found on my YouTube account, Sarcosys.
Although I am young, I believe voice overs and voice acting to be my passion. I plan on using all of my resources and energy to go as far as I can in it. Whatever your project demands, I will work as hard as I can to do the greatest job you can expect. They say that your toughest critic is yourself, which I believe in. I am a perfectionist and will, if necessary, work long hours and with great dedication on a single project until I get it to as close to perfect as I can.
