- Experience, training, and equipmentI started out with voice overs / and radio in 1988, I've worked in various markets like Philadelphia, Virginia, Maryland, and now Im in Michigan in the Detroit metro market, Im a host of a morning team on a number 1 radio station in Detroit. I worked at a Voice over agency in Virginia Beach , Virginia called Earworks studios for 2 years . But Ive basically have been in radio almost 22 years and providing voice over services to clients. Ive recorded commercials like Sports events , Fabric softener commercials, politician commericals, and television commercials. I attended The University of Maryland Eastern Shore 1985-88. I got my start in Salisbury Maryland --at 1470 WJDY-AM. My major in college was Communication/Music Education. I got into voice overs when i started working at the Am station. i have easy access to the radio station, plus i have Adobe audition (cool edit pro) installed on my laptop. My other skills are entertaining audiences by playing music- I also am a Disc Jockey(street DJ) Ive been doiing that longer than voice overs . Ive started mixing records at the age of 8 years old, and ive been doing it since.
