Andrew Helbig | Voice over actor

Andrew Helbig has been doing voice overs since 2015, but has always had a passion for all things sound. He always loved playing around with his voice and learning about the behind the scenes of movie and animations, seeing the incredible actors who would use their talent to bring characters to life on the big screen. Growing up with a passion for video games, he got into his ears and imagination the huge cast of characters from dozens of great video games and voice actors. Master Chief’s deep signature voice, Commander Shepard’s voice in Mass Effect, Marcus Fenix’s gruff voice shouting to his teammates. Andrew became fascinated about the voice over work required for video games, who would provide those wonderful voices. Then later, he grew more and more interested in music and that grew his musical side, expanding his ideas of rhythm and pitch, giving another way to think of speech and language. Andrew plays piano and enjoys singing and has a YouTube channel where he uploads weekly videos of classical music, rock, and folk music. Andrew got started by doing voice over work on fiverr.com and has accumulated 1,000+ 5 star reviews and counting. From his humble beginnings, he has expanded his voice over services to accommodate everyone’s needs for any sort of project. From doing a standard voice over for a the promotion of a small business, to doing an imprisoned wizard for an escape room, from doing interactive voicemail recordings for a law office, to doing the intro for a podcast all about ice cream. Andrew can do the voice for any project you have in mind and is happy to collaborate to do the best job possible. He’s quick to respond and quick to deliver the final product. Andrew currently lives in Chiang Mai, Thailand, spending his time doing his freelance voice over work and studying the Thai language. He’s now an upper intermediate to advanced speaker and is beginning to branch out into providing Thai voice overs.
