About Amy
(she/her)Amy has been seen and heard around the dial for over 20 years. She's done lots of TV, but it's her voice that people usually remember.
Amy's voice is warm and rich ...She's played the mom, the Best Friend, the Boss, and a lot of Doctors. Her voice can be authoritative, a little bit sexy, authoritative for political campaigns, professional for narrations, or friendly and fun for commercials.
Clients who've chosen Amy's voice include BMW, NBC Promos, MTV, VH1, HBO, Taste of Home, NFP Insurance, the Coast Guard Foundation, and many creators of Corporate and Medical Training Videos. She's also a favorite for Audiobooks and Documentary narrations.
As the owner of my own Production Company, Amy not only has her own studio, she also understands the importance of professionalism and timeliness. She hires voice actors as well, so she communicates clearly, always wanting to make sure the client gets exactly what they want.
Amy spent years in front of a camera, as a show host, interviewing rock stars and covering the world of Entertainment on VH1, VH1-Classic, Fox News, and CNN, among others. She's had a few radio gigs as well, on-air on 7 different channels on SIRIUSXM Radio, as well as WLS, WJMK, and WLUP in Chicago, and New York's Jackfm (WCBS-FM).

- Experience, training, and equipmentI've been in the broadcast industry in many facets for over 25 years now. I've been in front of the camera, on the microphone, and a producer behind the scenes for my entire career. My credits as a voice actor/narrator include BMW, HBO, VH1, VH1 Classic, MTV, Fox News, CNN, Countless promos and commercials, and radio (7 different channels on SIRIUS Radio, CBS-FM in NYC, WLS, WJMK, and WLUP in Chicago). Years of radio and lots of Improv study taught me much about how to use my voice. I studied Theatre at Hope College in Holland Michigan, and Broadcast Media at Michigan State University. After college, I participated in Second City Workshops in Chicago for 3 years. I have an audio studio set up in my home office. I've done radio broadcasts from there. I have an ElectroVoice PE20and a Focusrite Scarlett interface. I can produce and send .mp3s, .WAV, or .AIF files, and I also have an ISDN line. I also co-own a production company, mOdatVideo.com. I regularly work with clients, so I know how to be professional and have a good understanding of the corporate side of the business.
