I began by voicing commercials for the local cable affiliate in Denton, Tx in 1994. I did sportscasts on KNTU 88.5 FM in 1996, as well being talent on a magazine show on NTTV Cable. Throughout my career in radio (sales and promotions), 1995 - 2005, I read commercials. Clients included Cornerstone Mortgage, Silver City Cabaret, Latovi, ABC Moving and and I did promos for station imaging on KRBV 100.3, Dallas, TX. I have been on air in a co-host capacity since July of 2007.
Minor in Radio/Television at University of North Texas (graduated in 1996). Classes in news reporting, live reading, DJing and even football play-by-play taught by Bill Mercer. I took commercial reading taught by Richard Perrin in 2001. I took "One True Voice" singing lessons from Tom McKinney in 2005. I continue to sing with a local band.
I have access to a studio with all the bells and whistles (several, actually) at the station I work at, and I have a friend who does all of the station imaging for CBS radio in this market. His at home studio is out of this world, and his editing/production skills are unmatched.
I have a huge drive to knock it out of the park everytime. I am flexible and amiable and take direction well. I've done sales and marketing my whole career and know who to "sell it"! I am a go-getter ready to kick ass for you!
