I have been a voice- over actress for around 15 years, as well as music composer and sound designer for visuals. I’ve worked on documentaries, Short films, Internet infomercials, T.V commercials, e.tc. I first studied theater in Colombia South America, where I fairly trained my speaking and singing voice. Later on I studied Opera and Piano in the course of seven years in Glendale Community College, meanwhile, taking classes of music technology that focused on working with “logic”. I currently have a Dark cabaret music project known as “AmaNRouge” that has been active for the past 13 years in the underground scene. I have two full studio albums that are out as well as many singles that have been released. I’ve done the original music and sound design for short films like “The invisibles” that has acquire world wide recognition as well as the music for the short film ‘Psyclay” which was selected for the Rasquache film festival and “Hollowclay” that won the Guild’s award, amongst many other videos. I have been the oficial voice of “Se lo Explico con Platilina” a Stop motion company from Colombia that has acquire international recognition for it’s humanitarian nature as well as it's artistic impact. As a voice-over artist I’ve also worked for clients such as: International Red Cross, ACNUR, OXFAM, El Banco de la República de Colombia(More than 50 videos with them), Se lo Explico con Plastilina, Peluches Norma, USAID(El Pueblo de los Estados Unidos de America), OIM(ONU Migración) amongst other clients.
Working with my voice is something that has come naturally for me since I was in High School, where I started with my first T.V. Commercials. Throughout experience, vocal coughing for broadcasting, and vocal development as a singer and voice-over actress I have developed my vocal technic in what it is today. I hope you find it amusing and if it does not fit for this particular project you may consider it for future projects.
Truly yours,
Amanda
