I can and enjoy using accents when needed. The accents I do are as follows: Generic British, Cockney, Irish, French, Russian, Indian, American Southern: Proper Southern, Redneck Southern and everything in between. New Yorker, either Guidette or Jewish, Midwestern, and Valley Girl. I am always working on or playing with accents, so if you have a project that needs an accent that's not listed on here, but you like my voice, let's talk!

Stop talking! NO...I like it. I have used my voice in several professional capacities. I have acted since I was 10 years old, using my voice to help create numerous characters of all types. I have taught school for five years, as well as run after school programs, which have required that I use my voice as a tool of communication both in clarity and in conveying emotion. For the last two years, I have been recording text book assignments for students with dyslexia at Addlestone Hebrew Academy. While living in Atlanta, I read the Atlanta Journal newspaper live on the radio for the blind. This was a cold reading requiring an ability to take a written piece and give it appropriate intonation on first read. I am the voice for the phone recording at Serolight and Inside the Envelope. I have done voice recording for video for a company out of Nigeria. I have a BA in English Literature and a minor in theater from Georgia State University. I have taken extensive acting and theater classes throughout my life including a Summer theater program at Choate Rosemary Hall I worked with vocal coach June Bonner. I have and continue to take classes on-line at the Edge Studios out of New York. I took a voiceover course on-line with voiceover artist, Peter Dickson and voiceover director, Hugh Edwards. My personal professional voiceover studio includes: MXL 2001 Condenser Microphone Lexicon Alpha audio interface Behringer XENYX 802 mixer My background includes many years of on-stage acting. This is a tremendous skill to have in my voice over tool belt. It helps me to be able to fully relate to and create various characters with both the actual voice and the reading of the scripts. Also, as a teacher, my voice has been in constant use for conveying information in a manner that is both clear and engaging.
